We have internal equity and debt funds as well as partnerships with major studios (Warner Brother) and sales companies (Anchor Bay/Starz). We also work with, or as consultants, for major game developers and publishers including EA, Ubisoft, and United Front Games.

A writer and producer and co-owner of Contradiction, Tim most recently produced MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY for Warner Bros. In 2010 he was one of the producers and writers on Contradiction’s indie feature THE CHATEAU MEROUX.
Since creating Contradiction with Tomas Harlan in 2004 he has sold a feature, THE DEMONSTRATION, to Gold Circle Films and a television show, QUARANTINE, to Paramount/CBS. He has written for several AAA console gaming titles and continues to act as a creative consultant in the gaming realm.
Tim has a B.A. and M.A. in political Science and served as a media analyst and expert in international affairs, terrorism, and warfare for a variety of Canadian news outlets.
As the co-owner of Contradiction Films, Tomas has produced and executive produced the projects : MORTAL KOMBAT and THE CHATEAU MEROUX.
Prior to partering with Tim Carter, Tomas worked for more than 14 years as a business consultant, CFO and CEO of financial-based companies that he founded. He specialized in launching and managing start-ups, turning around distressed businesses, raising private capital, and creating and implementing tax and cash-flow management strategies.
He has established and conducted businesses in 19 different countries, speaks several languages, and holds a B.A. from UCSD and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
